A new podcast released this week aims to ensure that rural and regional Victorians have more local access to medical professionals, including specialists.
In Doctor What? Doctor Where? - Stories of Rural Medicine in Victoria, GSGs very own Dr Chris Mills explains the extraordinary benefits of being a regional and rural specialist. Expertly interviewed by master storyteller Patrick Laverick (The Digital Ninja), Chris discusses his motivation for moving rurally, and what benefits can help in attracting more specialists to live and work rurally. Chris strongly believes in the benefits of specialists not simply visiting, but actually living in the community they serve, which allows for a much greater understanding of the health challenges faced by the community.
Listen in to this deeply engaging interview, to understand your local gastroenterologist and physician on a different level.
