Interventional Endoscopist, Gastroenterologist & Consultant Physician

Chris is an Interventional Endoscopist, Gastroenterologist and Consultant General Physician, holding Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Originally from Victoria, and with a strong desire to serve rural communities, Chris provides world-class medical expertise to Gippslanders, close to home.

After completing medicine in South Australia, Chris returned home to complete specialist training with Monash Health, Latrobe Regional Hospital, Warragul Hospital, Bendigo Hospital and The Austin, before completing sub-specialty endoscopic training at The Northern and the world-renown Victorian Liver Transplant and Australasian Intestinal Transplant Services based at The Austin. Chris has been extensively trained by world-leaders in interventional endoscopic techniques.

Chris offers general gastroenterology and endoscopy services, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy (Pill Cam), however has a special interest and sub-specialty training in endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS). 

Chris maintains an active general medical and extensive gastroenterology practice and will see all referrals, including patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Functional Gut Disorders, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Liver Disorders and a vast array of general medical problems, including patients referred that require inpatient management at Warragul Hospital, Neerim South Hospital, Maryvale Private Hospital and Latrobe Regional Hospital.

Chris strongly believes in offering patients a comprehensive and multidisciplinary specialist service. He strongly advocates for complete patient care that can be best achieved through collaboration with surgeons, physicians and allied health professionals working together in a cohesive single group.

Chris maintains an active teaching appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine with The University of Melbourne and Monash University, having published more than 40 articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals. During his spare time, Chris enjoys tending to his 80-acre beef cattle farm in Neerim South, with his partner, young son and baby daughter.


Sharon Majcherzak

Sharon has 21 years experience in the medical administration field, varying from reception to management roles during this time.

Sharon started her career in a General Practice in Pakenham where she started out as a receptionist and worked her way to the Practice Manager position. 

After leaving general practice, Sharon started at a Specialist Centre working for a gastroenterologist. In her 14 years there she helped the business grow to a larger company, accommodating five gastroenterologists and working her way up to the Office Manager position.

Sharon has vast experience in the general practice and gastroenterology fields as well as varied allied health professions.

Sharon has a bubbly personality, is eager to help, is a consummate professional and has a great rapport with both colleagues and patients alike.  Nothing is too much trouble and she enjoys a challenge or anything out of the ordinary.

Sharon was born and raised in Drouin/Warragul and understands the importance of quality, accessible healthcare in the rural community and strives to ensure patients receive the care they require.

Sharon spends her weekends enjoying quality family time with her son and catching up with friends and family.

Jo is our Senior Medical Administrator and Client Experience Officer and has worked locally in both reception and administration roles for over twenty years, so you may spot a familiar friendly face when coming through our doors.

If you have any questions in regards to appointments, procedures or general enquiries you can rest assured that when you contact our office in person, on the phone or by email you will always receive professional and courteous service from Jo.

When she’s not in the office you can find Jo pottering in her garden, looking for furniture to upcycle and enjoying time with family and friends.

Ms Chere McCamley

Breast & General Surgeon

Chere is an Australian trained Surgeon who has a long-term commitment to providing specialist General and Breast Surgery services to regional Australians.

Chere obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University in 2007 and trained in General Surgery at Monash Health. Chere was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in General Surgery in 2018. Chere has a commitment to lifelong learning and in 2022, she was awarded a Masters of Surgery (Breast Surgery) from the University of Sydney.

Chere is the current Chair of the Gippsland Regional Integrated Cancer Service (GRICS) Breast Cancer Team and also works with BreastScreen Victoria. Chere is dedicated to her local Gippsland Community and currently works at West Gippsland Hospital, Leongatha Hospital and Maryvale Private Hospital. Chere provides specialisation in breast, general and emergency surgery. She is GESA accredited.

Chere has completed an Emergency and General Surgery Fellowship in Regional Victoria. During this Fellowship she was a Deakin University lecturer and steering committee member for the Sepsis Collaboration. In 2019-2020 she completed a Breast Cancer subspecialty fellowship at the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s Hospital (BreastSurgANZ). Chere is a published clinic researcher. Her recent work includes being a principal investigator for a clinical trial in Magseed localisation for Breast Cancer Surgery.

In her spare time, she enjoys her cattle farm with her young family in Neerim South.


DR MUHAMMED AL-DULAIMY

Consultant Physician & Doctor of Advanced Medicine (Gastroenterology)

Muhammed graduated from Baghdad University-College of Medicine in 2005. He completed his internship and specialty in General Medicine in one of the most prestigious tertiary centers in Iraq (Baghdad Medical City Complex) in 2012.

In 2014, Muhammed was awarded a prestigious Scholarship to study atMacquarie University in Sydney and completed a Doctorate of Advanced Medicine with specialization in gastroenterology in 2018 with academic excellence.

He further pursued his dream and completed the Australasian Fellowship in General Medicine and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2023.

Muhammed has a particular interest in treating complex medical patients with a special focus on gastroenterology and hepatology.

He has recently been appointed Consultant Physician at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul after completing his registrar training over the last two years. He has built up a good rapport with his colleagues, medical staff and patients.

Muhammed currently lives in Warragul with his wife and 7-year-old son. He enjoys road trips and has an interest in astrophotography.

Ashlee is a newly graduated accredited practising dietitian. Ashlee completed her Bachelor of Nutrition Science and Masters of Dietetics at Deakin University. Ashlee is passionate about providing holistic person-centred care, utilising a 'non-diet' approach. She wants to help you feel as joyful about food as she does! 

When not working, Ashlee can be found curled up with a good book (and a delicious snack) or enjoying quality time with her fiance, family, and friends.

Medical Administrator

Lana is one of our Medical Administrators who has a medical background in reception, administration and pathology. Lana has worked in pathology for over 8 years in hospitals in Victoria and Western Australia.

Lana has a caring and professional manner and is always willing to help you with any enquires you may have. Lana has recently relocated locally with her partner and son so if you see her around don't be afraid to say hello!

When Lana's not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on little adventures and daytrips and exploring new cafes for coffee.
